Huehuetenango is a world famous city in western Guatemala known for its coffee. The unique mountainous climate provides farms with many different elevations, often reaching well above 2,000 meters.
Due to these higher elevations, the coffee plant develops slower in the lighter air bringing out a rich flavor. Our Huehue (Cornerstone) is roasted as a Viennese, dropped at 443°C, right at the beginning of the second crack.
The importance of this part of the roast brings out the unique flavors of the origin, minimizes its acidity contents, and increases body. Flavors you’ll find in this coffee are - Dark Chocolate, Cinnamon, and Orange.
Brewing it as an espresso will give you more of a chocolaty-herbal taste that is well balanced.

This is our stand alone dark roast that we offer. As a Guatemalan Fully washed bean, the Nastalgia is roasted up to 460 degrees before heat is shut off and the beans are allowed to roll in the smoke for a few seconds before being dropped.
This creates a rich, fully bodied flavor experience that is reminiscent of that first cup of coffee in the morning feeling. We hope that the bold smoky flavors of sweet aromatic tobacco and wheat give you just what you need to start your day off right.

Unity is a 50/50 blend of our Guatemala Huehue, roasted to a viennese, and our Ethiopia natural Yirgacheffe, as a city roast.
Blending these two gets you the chocolatey taste and full body of the Huehue and the bright, fruity flavor of the Ethiopian. Usually in a natural, you’ll get quite a bit of acidity in your cup but pairing it with the Huehue minimizes the tangy aftertaste giving you a balanced cup.
You’ll get strong notes of dark chocolate and blackberry, then it will start leaning towards a smokey herbal after taste. This blend recreates the strengths found in both of the origins while taking away any effects that might be considered undesirable to some.
